| Course | Getting started with Moodle | ||||||
| Description | Moodle is a course management system that provides a web-based interface for posting materials to supplement courses and foster collaboration, activities, and critical reflection. This workshop lead by IITS staff will give you an overall introduction to Moodle with basic technical training. First, the participants will explore a sample Moodle course, and the presenter will talk about the different ways you can use Moodle to facilitate and manage your course, use it to engage students in small group discussions, share content, and manage and grade assignments online. Following this, IITS staff will lead hands-on step-by-step training to help you to set up your site and add appropriate activities and resources to your course. The presenters will also discuss the ways Moodle can facilitate flipped or blended models of teaching. |
