Course | Moodle 4.1 Grading in Moodle | ||||||
Description | Moodle's Gradebook centralizes grade management, allowing instructors to customize grading schemes, automate calculations, and provide transparent feedback to students. It seamlessly integrates with various activities and offers analytics for insights into student performance. Additionally, it ensures security and privacy while providing export options for record-keeping and entering grades in SIS, ultimately enhancing the teaching and learning experience. In this hands-on workshop, we will: - Demonstrate common grading scenarios and their set-up in the gradebook - Identify best practices and things to avoid - Navigate and explore the grading interface - Hide and release the students’ grades - Set-up your gradebook on your Moodle course site: Think of your grading scenario before the workshop and get assistance in the set-up! Please refer to the Grades module on the Help for Instructors page on Moodle for a reference on the step-by-step instructions and set-up guidelines. We highly encourage you to complete the eLearning module before attending the workshop: https://moodle.concordia.ca/moodle/mod/scorm/view.php?id=3795515 This workshop is lead by IITS Training Team |
