Banner 8.x supports the following browser and OS configurations:

Other combinations may work but are not supported.

First time:

The first time you access INB, you'll have to download the installation program for the Java plug-in (~9Mb). Make sure to use the 32bit version.
  • Choose to save the program to your computer. Double-click on the file to start the setup program. It is recommended that you check all downloaded files with a virus scanner before using them. If you have trouble downloading it with your browser (other than Internet Explorer), try downloading it with IE. Once installed, you can use your regular browser.
  • Run the installer program to set up Java plug-in.
  • You will need to be logged in as an Administrator to install the software. You may have to check with your area technical support person for this.

Multiple sessions:

To run multiple sessions of Banner you need to either open a new tab or a new instance of your browser.
